Despite all the rain, the Kentucky Derby party was lots of fun! It was a great day to be with friends . . . Dave Shipley, Dave Richards & Cindy Lites and I enjoyed a mint julip or two, barbque and good times. I mean, what's a little water?
Shannon Shipley [darling daughter of Jenny & Dave had her own body guard - she was in charge of the money!], Jenny Coleman, Cindy & Becky - we had pretty good luck in the silent auction tent.

And a little later in Athens during the same rainy weekend . . . . . .
. . . . the Dawgs fought the rain and also had a miserable series against the Gators. 
But we still cheered!Bill & Mary Huggins and me.
At the end of the game, Ann Winger and I walked home!
