met Tat & Howell at
5 & Ten for dinner;
scooted downtown to Hedges to hear MacGregor & Webb with
'High Tide';
took a cab home at 1:30 am and chatted until it was time for bed at 2:30 am.
Rise and shine at 9:00 for ZTA breakfast and conversation with the gals; walked down Milledge for lunch at Tri Delta; quick tour of Butts-Maher and the new Dooley Plaza; and finally a trip to the 90% off sale at Blonde.
At 4 that same afternoon Pat "Vera" Berry Wilson came to meet me, daughter Mary Allen and my friend Ann Winger for the UGA Gym Dogs meet. UGA competed against Auburn; Gwen Mullins Puckett's daughter is a senior gymnast with Auburn. She was great, but fortunately for UGA, we were a bit better! We loved seeing Gwen; she still looks amazing!
Did I mention that we were also in the middle of winter recruitment? Here's a few of our fabulous new Tri Delta gals . . . .
200 young women participated; quota was 11. The morning after Dance Marathon, ZTA [along with every other sorority in town] hosted a Bid Day Brunch for the new pledges.
. . . and here's our precious new ZTA gals!
Tennis has started in Athens . . . we have had 2 matches. I'm 1-1.
We went to The Grit after practice on Monday and I had my first tofu!
Caroline Matheny, Piper Worthington and Joanna Pope came in from Atlanta we went went to UGA Idol - fundraiser for battered women and children.
Caroline's son Matt, was involved in the production of the show as an intern with the new Terry School of Business Music program.

And finally, Griffin came over for lunch with his favorite Aunt Becky and a few of his ZTA buddies . . .
Happy Valentine's weekend! L & K, Becky
